After the 30/06/2012 the Directory and Product Ad listings will be at a cost of $115.oo p.a. and $5.oo of every Directory and Product Ad listing will go towards the 'Guide Dogs Australia'. Our aim is to support those in need as we develop.

Yes, posting these Ads are completely %100 FREE and are PERMANENT OFFERS, and there is no fee if you sell your item on pettrader.com.au. The site is totally free, no strings attached! Our Aim is to help the community find good, safe and caring homes for pets.
How do I pay for the Directory & Product Ad listings after the 30/06/12?
Coming Soon!!! We are currently looking into various facilities and payment options for posting your directory and product ad listings and we will advise you via email once this has been set up as an option.
How Long do Ads stay on Pettrader.com.au?
Ads will automatically expire if the user does not sign in within 60 days and can manually be removed by the registered user at any time. At the moment there is NO expiry function. We're adding a self management component which will send a reminder email after 30 days and 60 days. After 60 days the ad will be set to in-active mode.
Are Ads screened before they appear on pettrader.com.au?
No, every Ad is NOT manually screened before they appear on pettrader.com.au, however we try our best to screen Ads as they appear but we also rely on users like you to help report bad ads to us by using the links in the "Report Breach" section.
How Do I Reply to an Ad?
At the moment there is NO reply/enquiry function. Such a tool would only be used as an internal contact system allowing visitors to send a message/enquiry to the ad owner. Due to SPAM its best to only allow registered visitors to do such, otherwise it will just be another spam tool.
How many Ads can I post on pettrader.com.au?
This is an unlimited offer therefore you can add as many as you wish. Please do not post the same Ad over and over again. This restriction is in place to prevent users from "spamming" the site.
How can I advertise my business on Pettrader.com.au using banners?
Banner advertising is available on pettrader.com.au. If you are interested in this option please let us know via the "Advertise" link located on the top of our main page. Complete the form and we will have our marketing director contact you for an appraisal.
I can't find my Ad what's happened?
It may have been deleted or tagged as inappropriate and made in-active.
Do you receive a posting confirmation email of your Ad?
No, we try to minimise internet traffic where possible. Users can verify their postings in the User Homepage area which shows all their listings for all categories.
How do I edit, delete or promote my Ad?
All users content can be managed in the User Homepage area. We're finalising improvements to the image manager which has been built as an extra component to manage images only. Images can be added directly from the items view pane. You can promote you adds by linking to them from other web pages and from blogs.
How do I edit my profile and personal details?
Follow the link which says 'Edit My Profile' - address and contact details can be updated there.
You must be logged-in to see the link. It will appear where the Login-form is located on the top-right.
Do I have to register to post an Ad?
Yes, you must register as a member in order to add a listing.
Why was my Ad removed from the site?
There are several reasons why an Ad may have been removed from the site, such as, it may have been reported to us for one of the reasons as listed below or it may have been removed for it is against pettrader.com.au privacy notice and terms and conditions. Your access may have been restricted or other reasons, for further clarification and information please refer to "Contact Us".
What reasons are reasonable for Reporting Ads?
Many reasons, pettrader.com.au is an Australian Community site. We rely on your feedback to keep the site user friendly and safe. You will notice that on each ad there is a button "Report Breach" for our attention.
Your reasons for reporting an ad may include:
- Fraud / Scam / Offensive for Illegal / fraudulent ads. If you think the ad is illegal or you believe the advertiser to be a scammer.
- Spam / Duplicate ad. If the same ad has been posted more than once in the same category.
- Wrong category. If you think the ad belongs somewhere else on the site.
- No longer Available / Outdated. If you think the poster of the ad has i.e. sold the item and not responding to your emails.
- Copyright Trademark Violation. If you believe the owners of copyright, trademark rights or other rights owned by third parties are being breached. Remember entitled parties, in particular the owners of copyright, trademark rights or other rights owned by third parties can report any offers which many infringe on their rights, and submit a request for this offer to be removed.
After an ad is reported to us, we take a look as quickly as we can and then decide if we need to remove it. As you can see, your help and feedback is extremely valuable to us.
